Women I Love and Words to Live By

Fall is in full swing, and for many of us, with it comes the warmth of a fire and deep introspection. This week, I am honored to share my connection with two fabulous women: HeatherAsh Amara and Judy Goss. They have joined our courageous Truthtellers to share their stories at Women For One this week.

As each of us continues to delve inside the walls of our own hearts, I want to share an excerpt from one of my favorite authors for you to contemplate this week. These words are posted on my chalkboard in my kitchen and I make an effort to read them daily:

I free myself from hatred
through forgiveness and love.
I understand that suffering, when it cannot be avoided,
is here to help me on my way to glory.

I understand that
everything is connected,
that all roads meet,
and that all rivers flow into the same sea.

– Paulo Coelho, from his book Aleph
