Join Us at the International Women’s Festival Pacific Northwest
I’m honored to be a keynote speaker at the International Women’s Festival Northwest, which takes place March 9 and 10 in Vancouver, WA. It’s an official program and special event of the National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE). Along with hundreds of other women, I’ll celebrate women’s accomplishments and nurture the dreams of women in an interactive, multicultural, fun, and inspiring festival environment.
As a keynote speaker in this current time of rapid change for women and men across the world, I’ll be talking about what’s next, after the era of #MeToo and #TimesUp. As women speak out about sexual harassment and some of the most challenging experiences of our lives, particularly when it comes to gender equality and smashing the power structures of the “old boys’ club,” we can no longer bury the truth. We’ve been passively protesting or silently ignoring the abuse and inequality for too long, and there is no turning back now. It’s time to step up and take back our power—and I reveal how we can do that, especially with the help of supportive communities and an unwavering commitment to our messiness and our stories as women.
I’d love for you to join me, in solidarity with all women! Get the details here: http://womensfestivalnw.org/buy-tickets/
