Conversation with Dominique Christina, Poet, Mother and Powerful Woman

 

Dominique Christina is a writer, performer, educator, and activist. She holds four national titles in the three years she has been competing in slam, including the 2012 Women of the World Slam Champion and 2011 National Poetry Slam Champion. She is presently the only person to have held two national titles at one time. A former 1996 Olympic Volleyball player, Dominique has over 10 years experience as a licensed teacher, holding double Masters degrees in Education and English Literature. She has also presented alongside Eve Ensler and Alanis Morissette at the Emerging Women Live conference, which Women For One is proud to support this year.
