I want to welcome all of our new followers on social media and our mailing list! Our reach is about to hit 2 million on Facebook. Women For One has truly Gone Global!  Just more proof that women all over the world yearn to be connected and move into their power by freeing themselves from the stories they have told themselves. In February we will begin accepting youtube videos for women all over the world to share their stories and victories in life. In the meantime, we want to hear from you! Please send us your experiences at www.womenforone.com/share.

As our community expands in leaps and bounds, we continue our series of interviews with another beautiful healer, Sunny Dawn Johnston. I loved my conversation with Sunny for many reasons. But mostly, I was inspired by her grounded nature and transparency about her life. Like many of us, she is a mom, a wife, and a friend who is so approachable with the love and energy she exudes when one speaks with her. When we ended our interview I was left with this indescribable feeling of sweetness and inspiration. Somehow her gratitude and appreciate for unconditional love rubbed off on me in our short interlude. Thank you Sunny!

Wf1: How do you define authenticity?

SDJ: For me authenticity is walking my talk. It’s being transparent. It’s sharing where I am in my life, what’s happening in my life and how I’m feeling. Authenticity is staying open and vulnerable, and I try to share that through my book. Isn’t that how everyone learns? People would say, “Isn’t that so hard to share your story?” The thought never occurred to me that I was being vulnerable. That’s how you know that piece of you is healed. There are ups and downs, but you’re still embracing that piece and all of who you are, even on days when you’re not showing up the way you want to show up. You have to have that personal love for every part of yourself.

Wf1: In your book you speak about unconditional love and personal value. Can you tell me about how you would describe these two attributes?

SDJ: Unconditional love for me is loving without any condition or exception. One needs to always ask themselves, “What would love do?” It’s how I approach all issues and situations in my life. For me, that unconditional love for myself came through looking at my life, my choices, and the things I’ve created, and finding a way to love myself with them, not in spite of them. All of it has made me who I am.

Another part of unconditional love is loving my own life for the gifts it has given me. The same is true with people. You don’t have to like everything, but you still have to make an effort to be in that loving space as much as possible. Many of us try to practice this love every day, but human moments do come up. We just have to accept the gift that there’s still work to do there and jump back into our space of love as much as possible.

Wf1: You have such a grounded nature with your books and teachings. How do you stay grounded personally, while holding your spiritual nature in such a high regard?

SDJ: I like the fairy world, but I started recognizing that I spent more time there than I did in my own body. My body was suffering. I was not in a place of love or acceptance of my body and one day a message was whispered to me that I came here to be in the body. I realized that I needed to be in the moment. Be in the now. One doesn’t need to miss out on experiences on Earth because they want to be in the safe world of Spirit.

Wf1: So what you are saying is staying grounded in your body but being spiritual at the same time. How do you do that? Do you have any tools to share?

SDJ: Yes absolutely. First and foremost is meditation. I meditate not to receive an answer, but to plug into Spirit. Meditation helps me to have a very grounded life.

Also, one needs to be honest with where they have been. A lot of people want to be real spiritual and instead are often real judgmental. The truth is there are lots of paths and when a path doesn’t work, one should move to another path. Wherever you are is truly OK and when you’re tired of being there, you’ll move – one way or another. All of us need to own that we don’t know it all. I might be what some think of as advanced and self-aware, but I’ll still have something that hits me in the face for my own self-growth. I just move forward and learn from the experience. We are all still on this Earth to have human experiences, that’s why we chose to come here in the first place.

One tool I use daily is to visualize myself connecting and grounding with Mother Earth, then connecting into Spirit and bringing the two together into my heart to integrate the experience. I always want to be coming from a place of love in each situation of my life. I perform this exercise every morning to acknowledge the integration of my physical and spiritual beings.

Wf1: In your book you speak about the “Archangel Chart”. Can you give our community a summary of what you expand upon in the book?

SDJ: The chart I speak about in my book is vibrational. Because we are in these physical bodies, we have a more dense energy. Our vibration is higher when we connect more with the Spirit world. Our vibration raises when we are there. The first tool people need to learn is to how to tune into their vibration and see where they currently are in their lives. I feel my archangels through the vibrations and the vibrations feel different for each one.

Wf1: Can you talk about being psychic or intuitive and what that means to you?

SDJ: I don’t tell people’s futures. I believe that we all create our own future. I can help people understand, based on their energy, thoughts or vibrations, where they are right now and what they are creating for their future. My greatest passion is teaching. I don’t want people to be dependent on me. They can come to me, but I want people to know they can access that information by themselves. It may be more difficult for them to access that information in the beginning, but they can learn how to access it by tuning into themselves and different vibrations.

Wf1: Can you talk about the evolution of sharing your story in your book and how it changed your life and other’s lives?

SDJ: We all have a story. The difference is: Do you use the story to empower yourself or do you use your story to keep yourself a victim? There isn’t a right or wrong answer. The question itself empowers you to change your life. It’s allowed me to show others that they are empowered in their lives as well.

We just concluded a year-long book tour. My story gives people the opportunity to see that you can create your story, you can live through it and that you can manifest whatever it is you really desire in your life. My story offers me the credibility for people to see where I’ve been and where I am now. I have created an amazing life, but it wasn’t always that way.

Overall, the greatest benefit to me in telling my story is that I get emails, phone calls, and letters from people thanking me for changing their lives and for empowering them. My response usually is that I all I did was to open the door for them to empower themselves and ask the right questions.

Wf1: Who is the “We” on your tour?

SDJ: Myself and my soul musician, Kris Voelker, that travels with me and write and plays songs for what I am going to teach. People feel the energy of the angels, unconditional love, healing and personal empowerment through the music. Music always takes you there very quickly. It takes all the B.S. out of it and gets you right there, into the present moment and into your spirit.

Wf1: What one piece of advice do you have for the Wf1 community?

SDJ: My advice is that everybody that is born into a physical body has value and worth and you don’t have to do anything for it. You are worthy simply because you are here. Women struggle so much with their self-worth. Self-esteem is almost always the core issue of what people have to work with in their lives.

Wf1: Thank you Sunny for your insight, your guidance and your love. You are truly an inspiration to women throughout the world.
