An Interview with Gabrielle Bernstein: Teaching Women How to Transform Their Fear into Faith
I’m so happy to share with you a recent conversation I had with the phenomenal Gabby Bernstein. Gabby is one of those souls who seems to have done pretty much everything before the age of 40. She’s a New York Times–bestselling author of five books, a spiritual activist who co-hosted the Guinness Book of World Records’ largest group meditation, and a world-renowned teacher who was named “a new thought leader” by Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday.
I remember reading one of Gabby’s books while I was gazing out at the Indian Ocean on a trip to Bali, and I’ll always associate her simple yet inspiring message of hope, miracles, and abundant living with that experience. Gabby’s most recent book, The Universe Has Your Back, continues her mission of helping readers transform their fear into faith in order to live a divinely guided life.
Gabby’s stories, lessons, and exercises were written to help her readers release blocks to the life they know is within reach. And she doesn’t encourage us to do that by “efforting” all the way; rather, in dropping our defenses and surrendering outcomes to the universe, no matter what is going on, we can transmute our stress and suffering into peace and an unshakeable connection to our authentic power.
The book is the result of Gabby’s commitment to waking up as many people as possible to their connection to faith and joy. In our conversation, we talked a lot about the inspiration behind Gabby’s writing, as well as her own thoughts on surrender, love, and the power of women reclaiming their stories.
